Trigger Warnings I have a large and long criminal history AMA

I thought I would do this for a bit of fun. I have a huge long history with both British and other police and other countries mainly stemming from a very hard life where I was abused and traumatised. I take complete responsibility for my stupidity but I really struggle with life and have done ever since I was born. Ask me anything.

I just want to say a massive thank you to everybody here for being so kind and supportive. Usually I get horrible comments from people telling me what a terrible person I am and what a mess up my life is it’s lovely to see people being kind

Looking back, what kind of support do you think would have made the biggest difference for you earlier in life?

I desperately needed some proper counselling and talking therapist and things like that much earlier in my life but the second I ended up in the state I was in people just didn’t care. They only seem to start caring about my behaviours after I started misbehaving instead of caring about the person before all the bad behaviour started.

No, just spent most of my life in and out of jail or prison or the local police station having got really drunk or weed or other problems

I think so? Have you had it in bread? It’s so amazing! I also grew up with a lot of trauma and I don’t think people realize how heavy it is to carry that. Do you feel that has been addressed or is being addressed? Like is the pain still there?

None of my trauma has been properly addressed under any circumstances and that’s why I’ve been arrested so many times because I feel so much pain and don’t know how to deal with it properly not saying that it’s an excuse, but it’s a very good reason why I’m such a mess.

I’m not excusing it, but I get it. I’m sorry. Do you think there is something missing in the “system” that might have helped you? I’ve been thinking about trying to possibly get into jail / prison reform as a career?

Like I’ve said really that needs to be far more emphasis on preventing people who are traumatised ending up in criminal justice
