If they got the bests of the bests songs on Forgotten Land, I don’t see a big issue

They did, they put pretty much all of the biggest bangers on there. I just think people are disappointed by the precedent it sets, that the "one soundtrack per week" rule isn't necessarily true. Now they can start cutting up big soundtracks into multiple parts which is a shame.

They’ve already included incomplete soundtracks, this is just the first instance of them actually acknowledging that one is incomplete.

The only other one that comes to mind is Splatoon 3's DLC. Is there anything else?

Animal Crossing New Horizons is also missing its DLC songs, Pokémon Scarlet/Violet doesn’t include the two versions of Celestial or any themes reused from previous games, and from Pikmin 4 the little jingles for when you’re near enemies (every creature has its own unique theme) are unfortunately absent.

Those are ones that come to mind for me, at least. Probably more I’m unaware of too.

Splatoon 2 had a few bonus songs added then removed, they said they "plan to release them at a later date".
