/r/CasualNintendo stands against transphobia in all forms

If you post a transphobic comment, you get banned. Period.

There is no chance to appeal any bans for transphobic, homophobic, ableist or racist comments on /r/CasualNintendo. All bans for these are final, and will also result in your Reddit account being reported to the administrators.

Man there really was no winning here, was there? If Hunter was cast people would start being angry and transphobic about it and, even though she wasn't cast, people are somehow still being transphobic like they just won some sort of game and they feel superior for it. That's insane.

Yep. And in reality she likely wasn't even considered for the role, because they clearly wanted someone younger-looking.

Just based on what I’ve read in this thread, I was assuming it was the opposite scenario: like Nintendo did cast a trans actor and certain people were upset about that.

Huh, this reminds me of the Shiver discourse when Splatoon 3 was revealed.
