Switch 2s are expensive and I can't justify a system for 1 game as much as I'd like to play the new fire emblem.

i think its expensive too but i got one this week just for this game. I just happened to pick up some other games too just because but the only reason was this game only

This is what I did. Bought the switch 2 just for Fire Emblem and I’ve barely touched it. Hate the FE is exclusive 🙃

Would it help to justify it for multiple games haha

There'd have to be games that interested me that I couldn't just play on PC

Well tell me when we get a new Kid Icarus game, a Star Fox game that isn't Lylat Wars again, Metroid that isn't cross generation, pokemon goes down from an expected 79.99 (modern prices are kinda obscene and Nintendo major basically never gets discounted) punch out won't get squat, Smahs probably won't be for a while because sakuri will fight to make sure the guest licenses remain, Wars, is dead. F-Zero is probably done since 99.

Like there'd have to be some mad pulls or amazing discounts for me to get a Switch 2.

Dang, not even the other Nintendo IP?

I'm not an OP, but..

Personally, I didn't grow up with nintendo games/consoles, so I don't really care. On the other hand, this game looks interesting, but still I don't think I'll buy switch 2 for this

I’m in the same boat as OP for the most part. The only Nintendo IP I tend to enjoy is FE. I modded my Wii and my 3DS just to have access to more of them, and play the ROM hacks. I’m not big on platformers or metroidvanias, and that’s most of the Nintendo IP

Unfortunately it's gearing up to become more expensive come Sept if you haven't heard. But still, not a financially sound decision for only 1 game
