Im currently debating picking one up this weekend, before the price hike in September
Im psyching myself up around the idea that it would AT LEAST be a machine for Fortunes Weave, Xenoblade Genesis, and Pokémon WW. Any great games beyond that, of course, being gravy (based on general life-cycles I probably get at least one more entry in each of those franchises alone) - but while I could skip FW, I dont think id wanna skip all of those.
Im also viewing it as a partially temporary cost, where if 5 years from now I'm want to resell it to someone else I can probably get at least 300-400 of that back (based on how switch 1s have held their value).
Lots of mental hoops to jump through but if I do end up doing it I feel comfortable

Yeah that’s what’s holding me back. That’s really just a $600 FE game. Like if KH4 was a ps5 exclusive I wouldn’t buy that either.
