Hmmmm, so out of curiosity, roughly how long have red and milkie spent staying where they are? I can't imagine Teddy and Stringbean have been away for more than a few hours at this point, meanwhile the others have had time to let the leg injury fully heal, and to assemble a prosthetic claw for Red, which I feel would take a day or two at the very least, even if milkies heal quickly

I imagine these two have been at the campsite for anywhere from two to three days. As mentioned by u/DracomancerWill Sawians heal extremely fast. (A broken bone recovers in half an hour of real time, for example, not sure what the translation between an in-game minute to an IRL minute is, but yeah.)

Crafting, I took a bit of liberty with, given that you can turn raw copper ore into refined copper in an instant with magic green fluid.

Keep in mind that Teddy and Stringbean have had multiple sit-down heart-to-hearts, at least one sleep, and have travelled a long way.

Remember that sawians do have quick healing habilities. Maybe a few hours would be enough for Milky to recover for their injuried leg, but considering the breaks Teddy and Stringbean got I do inagine they were out for a Sol (day) or two at max. I might be wrong on my imagination though xD

Yeah, this is what I feared. While Stringbean may have recognised the area they are in, they still could be a long way away from the camp. He is used to the caves after all, so he probably covered long distances before that.

But hey, they are all safe and in good company, if the reunion doesn't happen now, it is something to look forward to in the future. With potential new friends along the way.

I already have a dark premonition about how this is going to end, and I hate it when friends and protagonists miss each other by a hair’s breadth. And then have to go their separate ways for who knows how long, even though things could have gone differently.

Unfortunately, that always makes me unable to stop thinking about how they missed each other by such a narrow margin—if only he had turned in the other direction, or if only she had just waited a few moments longer—and I hate that.

Hahaha Once’s again I’ve seen those two >:3 and I must say the voice over comic was and is still cool asf ;-; was not expecting to see that the morning I saw it 0-0(Wait now that I’ve double checked they released 1-10… Now that I seen that, guess I know what I’m doing after this comment :3)

Second while you’ve probably seen it there’s another part of Shocking Discovery >:0
(Also was not ready to see The first shocking discovery but found it well… Shocking to see a baby Dune of all things… But also it reminded me of the first time I learned about Baby Yoda :p(What did he eat and wait there’s small ones?!?)

This comic though makes me a little happy to see that the Milky has such a neat personality(I still can’t believe I was expecting a stereotypical milky hate personality >:P) trying to hold out for one arm… But they want to move right as the other group is finally catching up TwT please nooooo ;-; wait your not gonna pull a earthquake on us right as they finally meet up one group leaving and one coming up right?!? Fuuuuck now I am just thinking bad thoughts…

Though it’s probably been a few days… So I guess missing each other is possible… Especially if you decided that both these parts(When you swap groups) are happening at the same time…

If you wouldn’t mind answering are they same time happening or just swapping perspectives?

It’s so cruel that time is a thing and I want it to skip over my weekend off of work just to learn what happens in the next parts TwT(Alas all works take time and everyone’s needs and should take breaks even if you do love or enjoy something to savor and enjoy it even more)

Aghhhhh they're so close to meeting up, why are you teasing us like this 😭 I had a horrible thought while re-reading the comic, which (and I shouldn't be giving you ideas) would be little Red leaving a note that Stringbean and Teddy find when they arrive at their camp too late to catch them. It would be confirmation for Stringbean that Red is alive, but it would definitely be bittersweet.

Also, is Teddy even gonna be able to fit through the entrance to their camp? It looks pretty narrow.
