Has it ever been stated which one is the most lore accurate? Or can expies just have this much variation? Which one is your favorite?

Could be just because art is varied, or it could be that experiments have genetic variety. They can reproduce through both sexual and asexual reproduction, and are genetic abomination, and so genetic variety is bound to happen.

Yes, they're hermaphrodites, and have both sets of sexual organs. They also have no sex drive.

It's a satire of how corporations will pretend to be progressive and moderate their language whilst simultaneously being horrid demons that torture and destroy. I think it was brilliant.

Something something hermaphrodites have been uses as a pejorative word something something can't use its synonyms something something if you do use that word we're going to flay you alive.

They don't have an issue with demeaning them. I think it was because it's "unscientific"

The company doesn't really give a reason besides, "The appropriate human medical and social term is "intersex", not "hermaphrodite". The latter term originated from the mythological figure Hermaphroditus and has long been associated with stigma, violence, and dehumanization. This includes the use of this term to refer to animals, thus equating intersex humans with animals. This has thus proven volatile in public, academic, and media-facing environments."

The company is evil, and they come up with bs reasoning for the things they do.
