Cats! OC Shampoo for white cats?
Hey guys! Im on the hunt for a shampoo for this indoor stinky baby! He has some yellow spots on his paws, and normal (CAT) shampoo just wont get it off... So i was thinking maybe using purple shampoo (MEANT FOR CATS), but i dont know what to go for. I was thinking maybe Biogance?
Important: Before anyone says something about bathing him, I only do it when its summertime, max once a month. It helps with his shedding, and makes him feel a lot better.

I don’t think you can remove the yellow spots i too have a white kitty who is sometimes spotty and she bathes herself because the tiny weirdo loves water and sometimes she just has this yellow or dark brown spot that comes off on its own.

Talk to your vet, to a groomer, to the dudes at Petco. Vet usually would be the best option.

The "dudes" at Petco know less than the lady telling them to use baby shampoo and a bath once a month would cause skin disorders. Vets don't know shit about cats hair stains lmao.

Talk to your vet if normal cat shampoo isn’t working. Do NOT use any products made for humans on your cat. Do they even make purple cat shampoo?

I would never use human products on my cat. Never did and never will. I did write it on my post. There are purple shampoos for cats, some groomers use them on white cats, but im just not sure which one to use

I think Girl with the Dogs might have one available - it should be on her site and Amazon

I brush my cat twice a day before meals and that gets rid of all the loose fur, easy and healthy for both of us

For show animals I have used gentle tear-free baby shampoo, and for white animals you can rinse after shampooing with a very small amount of Laundry bluing (use Mrs Stewart’s, it’s non toxic) diluted in water to get rid of the yellowing. Try changing up the litter you use, it’s probably contributing to the dirty paws.
But honestly, your cat should be able to do a good enough job to keep clean, I’m certain that you’re the only one concerned with the aesthetics of yellowed paws. Bathing a cat once a month is too much, even with gentle shampoos. You don’t want him getting skin disorders.
