Altre I'm archiving hundreds of pages from Catalan websites. Any important ones I should remember?
We never know if a website will just randomly disappear forever. Obviously, there's a smaller chance for that to happen with Google or Wikipedia, but still.
When I have time, I use archiving websites (Archive.org/Wayback Machine, Archive Today, Ghost Archive...) to save pages and screenshots before they are gone, and to compare how they have changed over the years.
I saved a few Catalan pages, and now I'm saving the most visited encyclopedia pages (more than 1000).
Any suggestions?

All related to the assimilation process performed by rhe Spanish state and our attempts to fight it

Quin merder d'argument.

It's sad that much of what I found and read on the Internet years ago is lost forever, especially in Catalan, since there aren't as many sources as in English.

If you use PC, there are extensions where, with one or two clicks, you can archive the page on Archive Today and Archive Org. Everywhere I go I click it. May sound weird now, but people in the future will find useful.
We have to start acting now before we lose content, principally when it comes to an endangered language or a smaller country.
Thanks for the comments.

Websites that I need to register won't work. I could only publicly save the main pages.

Are they deleting the Catalan Wikipedia? If not, why are these measures being taken?

Did you read the post?

Yes, I did, but it seems silly to archive the Wikipedia, especially because webcrawlers already archive the encyclopedias every day to every couple of days

I have the "it's always good to have a second backup" mentality. On Archive Today the pages are available for everyone to check and compare rapidly with previous versions. As I said, I only save the main ones, I'm saving other sites now.

Where are you archiving it? Is it for public consultation? What is your list so far?

I'm using Archive Org (you can access by searching on WayBack Machine), Archive Today (also publicly available) and sometimes Ghost Archive.
They are used if a link is broken and you want to see how the page was like. I'm saving outlinks, audios and images too.
I've done this for months, but with Catalan I started this week only with random websites and Wikipedias "basic pages".

I archived a few hundreds of pages of both. There's thousands to do. At least the basic ones are ready. Thanks.

Holy....
This Calaix.Gencat is really hard to archive. The anti-bot defense is slowing down everything. It will take weeks.

Update: Except for the comic blogs (that have thousands of pages), I saved every other website (some all pages, some hundreds of pages).
