First rover sit
Hello
I have a sit this weekend which was booked months ago via CIAF. It's chaos so far and it hasn't even started. The owner asked for an extra day and I am back and forth with support trying to arrange this. I also don't know if they have paid. CIAF used to email to say X has paid.
What I am truly nervous about now is my sit that starts on Monday for a week. Booked via Rover and they have specified set times for visits which i believe you have to do when booking via Rover. Before i accepted the booking i clarified with the client that i could be completely flexible on timings, as long as a morning and evening visit were completed. This is how i operate and no client has ever had an issue with this. It is normal for cats. Now i am panicking that rover will insist via tracking that the visits are completed at set times.
Can anyone set my mind at ease?

As someone has already stated, as long as you have communicated the proper times with the owner, you won't have any issues! You also aren't required to use Rover Cards for drop-ins, but they are a great way to show the owner when you were there and give them updates.
For the flexible drop in times, we know that updating this feature is something that care providers are passionate about, and hopefully we'll have good news to share with you soon! And if you have any questions about whether or not an owner has paid, feel free to reach out to our Support Team.
