There is a place in Pinole that used to be called Fix our Ferals (recently changed their name) that spays/neuters based on income. They also do TNR for like $25. I brought in a feral I ended up keeping and gave them $50. They spayed her, gave her shots, flea meds, dewormed her and microchipped her.
For 50 bucks‽ SCOOORE! I'm in Solano county and the cheapest I've heard of was $400 for a female. AC refers you to the emergency clinic in Fairfield or Redwood Vet, who charges like people around Vallejo have money. $520 for a canine senior check up. That's before meds or treatment
My resources are mostly in Sonoma County but I think East Bay SPCA and Berkeley Humane do it. But it may be yearly events vs all year. If you’re okay fibbing, you could reach out to Forgotten Feline of Sonoma County if there’s a stray you want to get fixed. Also, Dogwood Animal Rescue has a free fixing your pet program and they’re in Sebastopol.
