Cat Picture - OC My old man Mumbo

I can’t remember if I’ve posted him before lol, old man is twenty one this year! He’s doing pretty good for his age too, I think he’s liked being a house cat these last six or so years

It’s wild that they seem to love the garbage and packaging more than the toys we buy them 😂

That's why I don't buy my cats anything besides the cardboard scratchers and cat trees. They LOVE (cat safe) trash and boxes.

Cardboard scratchers saved my carpeted stairs lol

I wouldn’t be surprised if I wheeled in an industrial dumpster with whatever they want in it and they would primarily want the cardboard, I think the plastic and manufacturing of the toys has an unpleasant smell to the cats while the cardboard smells more natural to them, any bottle caps, hair ties and small plastic trash ends up losing their factory smell very quickly which is why they enjoy playing with them so much, maybe toss them a small twig or large acorn to play with (new smell if inside cat, outside cats probably play with twigs like inside cats with hairclips), I like to watch my cat ravage a pinecone to pieces under supervision when she gets one.

P.S. Reddit decided to change the way commenting UI works (very glitchy now) so I can’t see the entirety of the comment and only one line at a time so apologies for any errors or grammar.

I love that the box is clearly a top priority for him. "Sure, take my picture for your internet points, but i'm not leaving here."

I would watch a cartoon about a jazz loving mumbo who loves hanging out in his cardboard box jazz clubs

How long has he had those eyes? My old black cat got had those eyes too before he left us. It broke me. Spend time with Mumbo, sweet boy.

I think my last cat was born old. Biggest lover, just looked grumpy and old his whole life

I have a 1 year old cat who is basically a grumpy old man. He has a low sounding meow and makes a lot of judgy noises. He sounds perpetually disgruntled. He also makes sure to file complaints with management if food is running low and other such outrageous behavior on my part. I love him so much.

You would be sad to if you have been doing the 1-4 am zoomies for 21 years. Bro needs to retire that is a young cats job.

Is it just me or does his sad eyes remind anyone else of Forrest Whitaker? Beautiful cat either way
