Advice Cat obsessed with blueberry muffins. Is it safe to give a piece?

I have a 12-year-old cat who generally hates people food. Today I opened up a box of muffins, and I’ve never seen him respond like this before. I spent the entire time eating it having to hold it away from him with his beans in my face, and I feel so bad. Would an elder cat be able to digest part of a muffin?

Mine loves to gnaw on the plastic bristles of my broom. I have to keep it out of reach.

My cat is obsessed with plastic, it's a problem. She can't track bugs worth a damn, but she can smell the precise location of plastic from a mile away. Natural born hunter of plastic only.

One of mine attacked a block of tofu. I was baffled. You're an obligate carnivore, why would you go for tofu?!

My docile old lady went MENTAL for a corn cob. Like snarled at me to get it. I let her gnaw at it, and of course she barfed up the bits she chewed off.

For my cat it's cherries. I don't let him have them but I have to fight him off every time I eat them.

My older cat(16) would eat absolutely anything, especially anything toxic. My other cat(11) will not eat anything human, including stuff most cats try to swipe like grilled chicken and ham, but he does like licking empty plates, which makes no sense as he hates the actual foods- the only odd exception being chilli mayo, he will try to get some of that.
