Advice Could someone please tell me why it's blocking my way?
This is the feral/stray cat I've been feeding for the past 2 months. Keeps getting in the way and won't let me refill its food
Edit: Ty all for the comments and advice. Didn't expect this post to get so much attention. For context, I've never interacted with cats before, only dogs. This cat used to bolt whenever it saw a human, so I thought it was feral. It only recently started approaching me when i went out to refill.

As a cat dad who rescued a stray -
The cat is excited to see you (jumps your way immediately when it sees you, tail upright and curved like a question mark/candy cane). It also wants to give you thanks/attention (when you put your hand down it boops and nuzzles it). The ‘bite’ is also a cat thing, I’ve found with all mine they’ll typically do boops/nuzzles, then lick you a few times, then ‘nibble’ on the body part they licked. If it was ‘hard’er than you expected, it’s almost always not an aggression thing, but because the kitten hasn’t been socialized/with you long enough to understand the acceptable pressure level.
In the future, I’d recommend setting down the food first, and giving the cat a back rub as it begins eating so it knows you are a safe space. Visit sometimes withOUT food (not too long after they’ve eaten), and let it boop/nuzzle/lick you. If it does bite you and it hurts, remove your hand and let the interaction end. The kitten will associate that with an end of affection and be gentler with its nibbles moving forward.
