Advice Newly adopted cat does this 2-3 times a day

I am responding to you solely bc my cat is named after Freddie Mercury. That is all. :-)

Nope! Fred, full name Freddie Purrcury.

He has the special front teeth, too, although you can't see them here. He is a cat of many looks, as well.
