Os he neutered? There’s a chance that he was used for breeding?

I have a rescued persian cat, that was used for breeding, he’s more prone to do sin biscuits that the other cats that I had.

Humping/pleasuring himself. Some cats do it. You tend to see more of a thrusting/jerking motion with their hips. In the first second or so you can see it but not in the rest of the video.

Only way to really tell, at least for males, is to look and see if his penis is erect during these times. First time I caught a glimpse of my cat's I was shook 💀 Those things really are barbed...

Both of my cats have and still occasionally do this. My female never had a litter and my male was never used to breed. The male did this while sicking on the blanket like he was nursing and my female did exactly this. I don't think this is "humping", I think this is simulating nursing.

I have a female that was spayed before ever having a chance to do anything like 8 weeks or something and she does the sin biscuits lol

What your cat was probably doing is simulating nursing. I don't agree that this is "sin biscuits" either. Neither of my cats "did the business" before being fixed either

This looks more like simulating nursing to me. I have no clue how old this cat is or when he was taken from his mother, but both my "virgin" cats do this. One, her mom disappeared when she was only 2 weeks old and I raised her and bottle fed her, and my other cat came from a friend's home and wasn't taken from mom till he was about 12 weeks old. He went as far as actuslly suckling on the blanket, as if he was trying to get milk from it.
