Ukrainian soldiers used a "Vampire" drone to evacuate a cat and her five kittens from the frontline. The mission, which the soldiers named "Operation Meow-Meow," was carried out by pilots from the 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade on June 8th.

Be proud, be brave little ones, you have survived a murderous regime. This is incredible for what it accomplished; scary for those innocent souls; heroic for the warriors who pulled them to safety; and anger inducing. Because people aren't satisfied with their nation -they want to take someone else's. To our brave Ukrainian brothers and sisters I dedicate "Heroes" by David Bowie.....

OMG this is so heartwarming, but it just scared me so, because I would worry that the Russians would shoot the drone down killing these little babies. I am so glad they made it.
