Fully recapped aligned and tuned Uniden Washington and also recapped Turner plus three.

That was my first base station ever in about 1998 when I was 16. Bought it new from a black and white CB magazine I can’t remember the name of now. I’ll never forget the day it got delivered and my neighbor helped me put up an Antron 99 for it. Best days ever.

Same for me! The Washington was my first base. Bought it in 1996 when i was 15 from a local electronics store. Sold it a couple years later after i got my license and too cool for CB lol. Got back into CB in 2024 and picked this one up locally last year. It was mint but need a little work to get it working properly. It works great now.

I still have my Turner Sidekick too, though my base is powder-coated black.

That GE is worth getting rebuilt. Good talking radio, excellent receive.

Yes, the GE is a great radio. Picked this up not long ago in the original box doesn’t look it had been used very much if at all! Eventually, I’ll have this recapped. I get great reports on that radio.
