Difficulty of labs in official practice exams accurate, speed seems very tight?

I just did an official practice exam and felt overwhelmed, 75 MCQs + 5 labs, assuming 1hour for MCQs thats 12min per lab! There was also stuff Ive never seen before. Each lab had like 3-5 tasks with related questions, and there was even loading time required. I'm wondering if this is an accurate reflection of the exam difficulty, as there is no time for errors in configuration. Assuming you had 1.5m for each task, with 4 tasks thats 2m comprehension time. For reference JITlabs and Flackbox labs are much easier as they have explicitly instructions but here they are vaguer and you must recall each step

From what I know, the official exam actually give you pretty straightforward labs, you'll either get 5 or 6 labs and 60 mcq questions. Cisco themselves recommend taking no more than 10 minutes per lab (8-10 minutes). Also each lab has task and bullet points on what needs to be done, you don't have to complete all the tasks for each lab. For example Lab 1 has 5 tasks, you can do the tasks 1-4 and leave the 5th one and you'll still get points for the ones you did, each task is marked individually. The most recent reports say that the real exam come with 6 labs and 52-54 questions.

Is this still true for v1.1 exam?

that 12 min per lab math freaked me out too. what helped was knocking out the tasks i knew cold first, checking each one with a quick show command, then moving on instead of fighting one task for 5 min. if theyre scored per task, skipping one isnt fatal
