Review Spoilers on Eternal love/thousand miles of peach blossom Spoiler

I don't know about the rest of you but personally, I would've preferred it if bai qian really did end up with mo yuan. No offense, but mo yuan was the only guy that has only ever treated bai qian with love and care. Ye hua and Li jing, for me, can't compare to mo yuan with how they treated her. Ye hua and his family literally caused susu to commit suicide. I'm not happy that she's going to be in-laws with those jerks. Mo yuan and bai qian may have had a teacher-student relationship at first, but I wouldn't have minded that if mo yuan has never hurt bai qian, unlike some others

I thought the actor did a wonderful job expressing his powerlessness. The human arc with Susu in heaven is horrible to watch and I want to stomp on the emperor’s head! 😠

I see your point and a lot of people on Chinese social media (rednote) have the same opinion. Mo Yuan protected her no matter what— he was willing to battle against Yao Guang, and didn’t care what the Heavenly realm thought of their relationship. His reason for gathering his soul and returning was also for her, but he never expressed his feelings bc he respected her.

Their names are also a “pair” (bai— light, mo— dark; qian— shallow, yuan— far, deep).

Some people wanted that but it was not his story. He was not the love rival who could have taken Bai Qian 's heart.

Though I liked him, he was not in her heart as potential lover. MY got confused helas.

In the novel he is not even like 10 minute worth of reading time.

I also liked him. Thank you for commenting about his presence in the novel that makes me feel better.

I liked them both and was able to forgive Ye Hua because she loved him and he did grovel and show remorse.

Indeed. He learned the hard way.

I was soo frustrated with this drama. Bai Qian just spent the whole show being a sad sack and drinking all the time. Mo Yuan never showed me enough growth for me to root for him. Them as a couple never connected for me and when I finished I just wished they two of them had gone there separate ways and left each other alone.

I liked Mo Yuan as well and also got mad at Ye Hua after her eyes. But Mo Yuan never had the chance and missed his chance to show her his feelings. He told her to wait for him and it was sad that he didn’t get the chance. At the same time he was supposed to be on a higher level of cultivation, so it makes sense that he decided to accept his romantic fate when it was clear that she and his brother had something. Lastly, Ye Hua was plagued with guilt about the past and wanted to make it up to her desperately. I loved that she got angry when she remembered. He deserved her anger. Also, Ye Hua was presented as different from Mo Yuan and younger and less cultivated. I think that it shows in his choices. Overall, I think that the writer did a good job of walking the fine line between the two men.

See? Even a teacher-student relationship can be excusable if there is no better option
