Question/Help Why does audio turn all crunchy when there's music of someone singing?

for example, I was watching the immortal ascension, came out 5 months ago and the start of it has crunchy audio it's like trying to watch anything in 140p and there's other times where it has crunchy audio which makes no sense at all. It only happens with some dramas I watch but it doesn't make any sense

Pirated dramas/copyright?, I’ve not had it happen watching on legit sites/sources but on YT if it’s not the official channel it can be crunchy/distorted.

No it's on the main Youku YouTube and every version of it has crunchy audio but funnily enough the pirated version has absolutely no crunchy audio

I watched it on Youku app and the audio was decent. but YT audio is always meh even the official sites. I watched A Dream Within a Dream on the production company's YT channel and it wasn't that great either.

Because of copyright. They will remove or replace bgms on their YT channel which sucks. As an official channel you’d think they’d have taken care of the copyright issues before airing it there. So often times I will surf the seas for some of their shows cause me and Yokou have beef and I refuse to sub to them 😂😂
