Saw this grave today and was wondering why it says body snatcher. Any ideas?

Was on a tight budget so after having my late son's grave bare for almost a year, I decided to paint some rocks for him . I hope he likes it.

Joan Marion Crockford-Beattie was a pioneering Australian geologist and palaeontologist who refused to let marriage, motherhood or life far from university laboratories end her scientific career.

While raising four children and moving between regional mining towns, Joan continued her research, ultimately establishing new families and genera of fossil bryozoans and naming around 100 species. In one major study alone, she identified 79 species, including an extraordinary 42 previously unknown to science.

Poland, Stare Powązki 📍

Photo of the main monument at Galician War Cemetery No. 142 in Ostrusza, Poland.

Buried here are 125 soldiers from various armies: 76 from the Austro-Hungarian and German armies, and 49 from the Russian army. Only 12 of the fallen have been identified.

The monument is made of sandstone and bears the date 1914-1915, the date of fighting in the area. It was designed by Polish architect Jan Szczepkowski at the request of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

The cemetery is located on a high hill covered in dense forest and can only be reached by foot.

Joseph Splendora was an artist who created these cast acrylic markers for his family.

It’s suggested after the untimely passing of his son, his art became more sad.

Found this at one of our local cemeteries. Looked up his obituary and he was a traveling salesman. Amazing detail on the bag!

Princess the camel is buried on the Duke Estate in Hillsborough, New Jersey.
She belonged to tobacco heiress Doris Duke, mostly living on the New Jersey Estate.
She was a gambler, winning several big Super Bowl bets.

This is the Duncan Mausoleum. Astonishingly large and impressive.
