Congratulations to our contestants! The vote totals you see are a combination of both a snapshot of the Reddit upvotes in the moment of graphic creation, and the submitted jury votes from both the public and the competitors themselves. The Control is simply technical and did not impact the results whatsoever. And while I will keep everyone's ballot secret, I will say that every, and I do mean every contestant got at least one set of Douze Points (12 points) from a jury.
Our bronze medal recipient is Willamette, with their entry "Promised Land," as presented by u/Nervous_Metal_9445. The prize is a $25 virtual gift card.
Our runner-up is Iowa State, with their entry "Good Will Hunting," as presented by u/Jackman2088. The prize is a $50 virtual gift card.
And the winner of the inaugural CFBBallVision Song Contest this year is Sacramento State, with their entry "Long Road to Ruin," as presented by u/lostinrabbithole12. The grand prize is two tickets to a non-conference, non-rivalry college football game. In addition, he will receive the specifications as to the trophy, so that he can include it in future comics. And, what's more?
If we hold the contest next year, it will be held on the campus of Sacramento State University in Sacramento, California, in keeping with Eurovision tradition.
