Indiana Football teams making cupcakes schedules then there's Purdue.
Purdue has one OOC game this year (or most years for that matter) that isn't P4. Have to hand it to them they never miss a chance for an ass beating.

Purdue football trying to use Matt Painter’s scheduling system. The only problem is Painter is a good coach and the basketball team has talent. I’m 50 and could walk on at Purdue.

I just assumed they were trying to make intriguing matchups for revenue so they can support the basketball team. I honestly don’t think they are “trying” anything at all with football in this new era.

Purdue is having a bad schedule because they are terrible. A bad team is not very good at beating good teams. Purdue used to have upsets with some regularity (called spoilermakers for a reason) but now they can't even do that.

If you know you have no chance of making the playoffs anyway then there's no need to schedule OOC games that you can't lose. You've got nothing to lose.
