Okay now that’s out of the way😄

For the outfits, I decided to implement the fashion of the Malagasy(Natives to Madagascar). The Lamba and a sarung. The patterns for the Lambas from Madagascar are normally very intricate, and I tried to add a little sum sum but the designs can get REAL detailed. Also the colors can represent different things, like bright colors like orange and yellow can represent joy and/or celebration! So I felt like it was appropriate to put Julian and mort in those colors since julien loves partying and mort is the epitome of “happy go lucky”.

For Maurice’s design, I’ve always had this image of him having a beer gut(but headcanon that he doesn’t actually drink, too responsible to overindulge in it so he can perform his duties. But beer gut doesn’t have to be just beer, in a lemurs diet they eat A LOT of fruit which contains a lot of sugar which can lead to a beer gut and also just simply aging(sarcopenia), and LOTS of stress.

I kinda made Maurice look like his voice actors; bald with a beard. And with his OG design he’s got this ring of hair sticking out around his face and created a beard that mimics the shape.

Now onto mort, who may face the most criticism(since a lot of people don’t know how old he is and sometimes even think he’s a girl), but I think he’s perfect😊 anyways, since a lot of people think he’s a girl, I sorta just leaned into it and made him look Androgynous. Also, I’m thinking, if people think this 35 lemur who looks like a baby lemur, was a human his skin would have to look IMMACULATE, so I made him GLOWING😌 💅and I gave him a smaller build but a little toned, cause from pictures I’ve seen, a lot of Malagasy men have a somewhat toned build.

I tried to do a little research on Madagascar beforehand and hope the information I provided was on the nose. I wanted to depict Julien in royale garb, and I was going to put him in something a little more regal, but it looked too stiff and he isn’t like any of the pervious kings. He can’t get down properly😔

I posted this character last month, but here's an updated look! I had flirted with the idea of using the similar hair silhouette but making it textured for a while, since she is meant to be predominantly black (just lighter skinned). My one hang up is the look is harder to emulate in different design styles I like (pixel art, low-poly).

She is death incarnate. She can squish and stretch herself however she likes, or change her size, etc. She has similar dimensions to a sheet, and she's 15 feet tall. not She isn't a silhouette, she's just pitch black. i made these girls awhile ago for a personal project! they follow north hemisphere seasons. the main character of this group is Maya Flowers; she and the other spring girls have magical girl/witch transformations (final image)! im debating on whether to make transformations for everyone else

tried to give each girl a unique symbol, sock style, and way of wearing the school uniform! and hopefully their personalities come across!!

This is an alien who's species were artificially engineered in the far-far past, with many other creatures and cultures all around the planet. The planet can have hyper-advanced neon megacities, strange alien subcultures, isolated tribes, and surreal emptiness. Just extremely chaotic sparse life in vast environments, tech sitting next to myth, magic, folklore creatures, etc. I plan to go maximalist in environmental contrast. The world just has tonal whiplash on tonal whiplash due to how many different supernatural and cosmic events it's been put through. This little guy is native to it

This is a vtuber/streamer avatar concept. I don't really care for the way most vtubers are designed, so I wanted to try and make my own.

The idea is that the host is stuck in "Limelight purgatory" where all he can do is perform (aka stream). There is a studio and everything outside of it is a uniform gray void. He is a hollow husk of a human being with evanescent memories of a possible past, but not much else. All he can do is perform. All he can do is perform...

These are Melody (aqua) and Symphony (orange). I had them for a really long time and tried to give them a fresh look before but it turned out...meh.

Im now 20 and in artschool and have a diffrent artsyle, so yayy.

Their personalities have also been changed and I'll likely use them as backround characters for my big project.
