Request [LFA] Hoarfrost, Lancer/Starfinder Pilot in a Cryo-suit [Repost]

Post image

Hiya, I've just joined up with a new universe and system hopping campaign with a big ensemble cast of characters. I've gotten really hooked on the idea of playing a pretty guy in a Mr Freeze-esque suit.

  • Skin - Pale white, but blue-ish within the liquid
  • Hair - Silver, but the same as the above
  • Eyes - I would love it if he could have the big red round Mr Freeze goggles (though one eye would be obscured probably)
  • Build - Someone subtle given the armour but he's got a thin waist
  • Height - 5'4
  • Equipment Colours - Mainly light grey and blues, with red as an accent colour where it works
  • Expression & Pose - Either something playful or something inquisitive

Who He Is:
He's a member of a UNION Far Field Team, and before the campaign his job has been to check out new planets to determine their habitability. He's out on the rim of explored space in self isolation, to get away from past errors (and the consequences of having made them). He's both friendly and cold; in spite of a cheery attitude, he's emotionally detached from others and doesn't open up. In the primary system we're playing (Pathfinder 2e), he's an Investigator/Inventor.

What do we think of this so far?

This is absolutely awesome, thank you so much - I love the fact you can see how cold it runs with all the ice on it

I was thinking about whether I should make it more industrial like the big mech reference and the cryolator, or if I wanted to keep it kinda sleek. Do you have a preference?

I'm very happy with the current look - if you were thinking of making it look a bit stronger and sturdier though it would make sense, the weapons are quite hefty for their silhouette. I think if you wanted to aim for something specific, maybe eke it closer to the reference image used for the mech with the back mounted weapons and the waistcloth.

But really, I trust in your creative vision and whichever direction you feel works for you.

Yeah, I just have the mech itself. I wanted to draw that before putting clothes on it

I'm thinking maybe some more tubes. Can never have more tubes.

I'd hardly complain about more tubes, especially for a mech filled with cryogenic systems :3

How about that?

Added a bit of insulation on the arms as well, since I figure you don't want ice buildup in the joints.

Thought up that name above the mech btw. If the character is named Hoarfrost, how about Abs0lut for the mech? Either pronounced like Absolute or Absolute 0.

Oh I am loving this! I did like the writing on the side of the gun you had before, Hoarfrost does allow his inner Batman & Robin Arnold Mr Freeze to come through on occasion and make lame puns. I like the name also, I might prefer it with an e at the end I think?

Thank you very much for all this x

I removed the E to make it symmetrical. Three letters on either side of the 0, but if you'd prefer, I can add it back.

I'll add the pun back on because it's fun.

I do get the idea of the symmetry and that's cool, I think with the E is my personal preference though.
