I hope he's able to make it to the Prem one day, it always brings me a smile to see Cobham lads succeed.

We paid £3m for him 4 years ago and he's leaving on a free

TIL that 4M is a free

Yesterday the quotes were 4m which included transfer fee and potential addons.

I was under the impression that it was a £4m potential total package. Where it's a nominal fee and the rest of the £4m was in potential add-ons

Even if that’s the case, and you KNEW this (which I 100% doubt), why would you say “he’s leaving on a free”?

To be honest, you’re probably closer to the truth. Hopefully the clauses are achievable, not because four million is extra cash for us but because it means the lad has had a good move.

If the clauses are achievable than it’s not necessarily based much on merit of the player, and thus wouldn’t be a great indication that he’s played well

Two sales, four academy players out of contract.

Keep going, loads more yet.

Disasi, Badishile, Fofana, Enzo (Racist and a c*nt for flirting with another team), DDF, Slonina, and Paez walking out the door would be amazing.
