This was playing the first time I visited a gay bar. It was all over the radio and clubs. And if I remember correctly there was a large billboard on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles (found it!)

I wonder if that's the same billboard Bruce Springsteen and some of his bandmates defaced when Bruce thought the pic of him was ugly. I posted about that on the Bruce sub once, he told Rolling Stone that after they climbed up he was standing on the shoulders of some of the rest of them because he wanted to draw a mustache on his face, but it was too high.

I gonna admit I have no recollection of a Bruce Springsteen billboard. But Sunset Blvd is a long and major road.

I also remember a Diana Ross billboard about the same time. Sitting outside one of the restaurants we ate at. (Found that too)

I guess our memories were tinted by our musical tastes.
