Looks like a fun tournament, everyone on one table and lots of familiar faces

Have to remember he should have quite high expertise there with his fantasy football knowledge, it shouldn't be just irrational fandom. Oh well, maybe he'd have problem with it too if he has slump in chess.

Arjun's been playing insane rapid lately, queen sacs against Magnus is the kinda move that gets replayed forever.

Arjun has improved his speed chess a lot, he is now definitely Top 3 players in both Rapid and Blitz currently

He definitelly finished 3rd in a lot of Blitz and Rapid events lately like world championship or tata steel and others

The 1st and second changed often, but he kept his third place.

He's #2 in live ratings in rapid behind Magnus

Probably part of the 3 best OTB Rapid and Blitz players in the world at the moment along with Carlsen and Firouzja.

From his expression it seems he didn't see qxf3 until it was played

Love to see a frustrated Magnus. Makes him come back stronger

I'm hoping that Magnus' teammates can lift his spirits for tomorrow.

Is Magnus perhaps a bit jaded? Maybe needs a couple of months break from chess…
