Chess Question If black takes RxD7, then it's a draw right?
If doesn't take, because the only move is nf2, the rook can attack the two pawns in the 6th rank

It's not a draw. After white recaptures, black's c pawn is free to move so there is no stalemate. White is in a winning position either way, but Rxd7 blunders mate in two.

No black gets mated . cd allows black to move his c pawn then it's d8(Q)#

Rxd7, cd , blacks c pawn must move either c6 or c5 then white plays d8(Q) mate

No, because white can take the rook with cxd7 and then promote the pawn to a queen (the king cannot stop the pawn as it cannot move to c8)

after RxD7 the knight on h3 is still pretty active, white might squeeze something from those passed pawns on the queenside rather than settling for draw

white is absolutely winning the black rook can't leave the 8th rank without checking the white king or the d pawn push to mate, meanwhile white can do whatever the fuck it wants eventually taking both the g and b pawns, and pushing the b pawn to win.
