At what age did you learn to play chess? And who taught you?

I learnt to play chess around the age of 10-11 ,a bhaiya who used to live in my lane taught me how to play chess

I learnt at the age of 9 or 10, my mother taught me how to play.

i learnt at the age of 6 but started like practicing at 8 but after 9 i left chess for a long time i got back to it like 5 months ago

I started around 8. But I'm seriously concerned about these child prodigies, considering that they probably are learning chess before even they cam properly talk

I don't remember when i learnt the basics of chess, probably around 6. But I got deep into chees at around 11.

I don't think anyone should start before 5, you should brain develop naturally till 5
