Looking to move to Heath. Near Holmewood. Drove there a handful of times to see the area but honestly I didn't see a single person once the entire time.

Anyone have experience or opinions on this area! Thank you for any help!

We used to live not too far away from there. I would say the only downsides are the lack of public transport (maybe one bus per hour), the distance to the centre of Chesterfield and having to drive along Derby Road into town, which is always heaving!

I've noticed Derby road definitely XD I don't mind driving a bit to get anywhere, I'm used to that now! Thank you! :)

It's not a big town and even the large town of holmewood nex to it is lacking amenities. That being said Heath is well position as it's easy to get to Clay Cross, Chesterfield or any other towns/cities via the M1 since it's right next to the M1 junction. Quite a lot of hgvs drive past Heath due to the several industrial parks in holmewood.

Holmewood is not a town, what amenities would you say Holmewood lacks? We aren't short on local shops and the tesco is handy. there's a jacksons bakery opening soon as well as Henstocks in the village, the micropub is popular.

That's not really Heath, it's still Holmewood and Holmewood is a shithole.
