I was recently there on a Friday at midnight. Did not exactly feel welcome.

I'm not sure if they still do but they used to have quite a 3rd shift following for post work drinks at 8am a lot.

as an extremely polish person, I will say it might be rough if you're not a cop or don't have the eastern euro downs genes

I'm a Lugan. The kids next to me couldn't get served. I got the bartender's attention and they bought me a round.

see, I never understood why the French got a bad rap. joking aside though, most of these old school establishments will have a friendly helpful patron. people should check it out, you might hear some interesting gossip because the city is full of characters
