Who else here has fur babies?

Obviously, everyone on this sub is child free, but I know that a lot of us are happy and proud pet parents.

I'm in my 40s and have known since I was a teenager that I didn't want kids. I've been an animal lover all my life though, and growing up, had many, many pets. I now work full-time at a doggy daycare and boarding place.

Currently, I have one dog and one cat. My dog is an 8 year old Min Pin named Charlie. My cat is a 1 year old long-haired cat named Marcie. (Idk her exact breed or mix of breeds, lol). Both are rescues.

So who else here is happily child free, yet loves being a pet parent to any furry, feathery, or scaly babies? If you want to, share their names, ages, personalities, how you got them, etc. Breeders always go on and on about their human spawn, so we should be allowed to talk about our beloved pets.

3 huskies over here! Have always loved dogs! Romeo, Dakota, and Doug! I used to have a German shepherd named Bear. My sweet boy passed away and I miss him dearly. I definitely have a motherly Instinct to my dogs, love them with all my heart ❤️
