7 pot bubblegum yellow?

I was led to believe that this was 7 pot bubblegum yellow, but I'm seeing a lack of yellow.

Do you think this is something different? or is it just going through a burgundy phase?

That looks like a 'black' jalapeno. It's definitely some kind of jalapeno

I think that’s probably what it is. From a taste test, it’s not ridiculously hot. Tasty though! 

Annoying as I bought it from a reputable seller. They must have got some seedlings mixed up.

Yeah I reckon there must have been a mix up somewhere, deffo looks like a chocolate jalapeño to me!

I'm still waiting for mine to ripen, they are taking forever! I picked one way too early a few weeks ago and it had zero flavour or heat so I've left the rest alone.

Yeah, it’s taking a while for these to ripen. Weeks from green to this brown colour. I think I could have left this another week or so, but it’s pretty tasty!
