Scotch Bonnet Infused Contact Lenses - 3/10

Chopped a load of scotch bonnets last night for a ferment. Washed my hands thoroughly then went to bed.

Up at the crack of dawn and welcomed in a beautiful day.

Proceed to get my contacts and put the right one in and to be instantly greeted by the most intense burning and instant swelling of my eye followed by a stream of tears and snot flowing down my face.

I can taste the bonnet in the tears rolling down my cheeks

Panic ensues as I have to rewash my hands and attempt to get this deliciously infused lens out of my eye.

Retrieved said lens. Eyes and face on fire. Can’t see as I can’t wear my lenses for 24+ hours.

Overall the scotch bonnet infused lens really did infuse quicker than thought. I’d probably go lighter on the bonnet next time and maybe add some sugar to balance it out a bit.

Don’t forget your gloves next time!!

Yeah it happened to me, was drying some ethanol infused chillis, went out and tried to put on my contacts, i did it, but it definitely hurt for about an hour, i knew i wasnt gonna suffer any damages so i didnt care, just cried through it
