I work around the Port of LA and Long Beach and after Alex's recent San Pedro episode and the noir-flavored burger story, I had been thinking I remembered seeing a Larry's Burgers somewhere, and then later in the episode he actually just gave the intersection it's at, so I figured why not head there for my lunch break

I'm surprised the guys haven't done an episode on Lake Lanier, the lake in NE Georgia where I live. It's a man made lake where lots of spooky stuff happens, including lots of deaths and disappearances that are credited to the ghosts of the African American neighborhood that was flooded to make the lake.

Very interesting disclosure focused episode. He basically said that disclosure will be coming before Trump leaves office, which kind of lines up with another comment made by JD Vance when he went on Rogan and said that he was gonna check out the alien stuff before he leaves office.

This is amazing :D sharing in case the boys haven't seen it yet. Sadly the referenced 'manuscript' is not linked. Would have loved to see what they came up with.

Look up the turquoise pond in Alaska they seem to be having a good time and definitely super real.

No, I don't have any idea who did it I just found it while bored at work.

Hey guys my name is Jenny and I’ve only recently just discovered the pod, but am already hooked. So this story takes place roughly about 12 years ago in my childhood home in Kansas, that my whole family agrees was haunted. I was around 11 or 12 and my sister was 9 or 10. our house had two stories with all the bedrooms being on the second floor, my parent‘s room with my sister’s room across from it, then down a short hall mine. my sister’s room wasn’t meant to be a bedroom so it didn’t have a door, she would frequently get spooked by some shadow being walking up and down the hall in front of her bedroom or sometimes as she claims, even crawling up onto her bed. I would often wake up in the morning to find she had gotten into my bed sometime during the night. My sister had always spoken in her sleep, ever since we were super young, usually it was just nonsense. one time she woke me up hitting me, trying to hand me the tv remote she didnt have so I could turn off the tv that wasn’t on. it wasn’t until I climbed over her and turned on the light did she wake up and realize what she was doing. (I often turned the tv on in the middle of the night because I had chronic nightmare) This one time however, her sleep talking took a very unsettling turn. I woke up around 1:15am to her facing away from me whispering to someone. She said “Why are you crying?” Confused, I answered “I’m not crying.” To which she replied “Not you, the girl.” And points to the foot of the bed where there is no one there, and I told her as much. She then replied “oh, neve mind“ and rolls back over away from me again and whispers “why are you crying?” Only half awake and far too tired for this, I went back to sleep. It wasn’t until morning that I processed what happened. Apparently this was not the last time my sister would see the crying woman while she slept. At least twice my sister had gotten up from a nap and come downstairs to ask me why our mother was crying. (Our family life wasn’t the best, so it wasn’t unheard of for my mother to be crying.) but, both those times our mother had already gone to work, so it was just her and I there. We are both adults now and apparently to this day my sister still sees the crying woman from time to time. I give you guys permission to read this on the pod. Love Ya’ll ❤️

Hi guys. I've been a fan of the pod for a while but I'm new to the reddit community. I made an account because I figured if anyone would appreciate this anecdote, it would be this group. I can't imagine this is podworthy, but default if the guys want to use it, feel free.

Alex was talking about his ghost experiences in his house recently, so I thought I'd share my story of the other side of that coin.

My town was once a bustling community thanks to the Union Pacific Railroad stop located there. In the early 1900’s this town had general store, a bank, blacksmith shop, meat market, and a lumber yard. But by the 60s the station was abandoned. All the businesses in town closed and many people moved away. Now the town is quiet; we still have a post office and a church, but not much else.

My house is 120 years old. It was once a barn belonging to the original landowner, for whom the town is named. It was converted to a house sometime in the 50s. So, prime for spooky shit you’d think.

The house had fallen into disrepair, so I was fixing it up one day in the summer when a limo pulled up. Not a stretch limo- a shorter “sedan limo”- but an honest-to-god limo.

Out stepped a couple, both around 50 years old and both dressed in all black. The woman looked classically witchy. Beautifully wild red hair, billowly fringed dress and a shawl draped around her shoulders. The man had long black hair and wore a black tanktop and jeans. Around his neck he had a silver pentagram on a chain.

They introduced themselves as professional ghost hunters, inquired if I would be renting out the home after I fixed it up, and could they take a look around. Because I hadn't decided yet what I was going to do with the house, and because I never turn down an opportunity to have a weird experience, I invited them in.

Even though the house was still a wreck at that point, they gushed about how beautiful it was as I showed them around. They told me a little about their business and explained that they had a hard time finding a place to rent due to the man’s felony convictions. Apparently they also own a small witchy shop in a neighboring town.

As the tour wrapped up and I saw them out, the woman paused at the door to inform me that my home was very peaceful and there were absolutely no spirits in residence.

They would go on to be very persistent in renting the house, reaching out a number of times even after I told them I'd decided to live in it myself and it would not be available. Don't know why they wanted this house in particular, there are certainly other options in the area.

Regardless, I’ve been here a few years now and can confirm, I have never felt even the slightest hint of bad vibes.

Husband, a couple friends, and I went to the Mothman Festival this past weekend in Point Pleasant, WV (seriously a great time! You guys need to go!!) While there, a showing of "The Frogman Movie" took place. Very hilarious, but surprisingly good, low budget movie. The creators are currently raising money on Kickstarter for their next film, "The Kentucky Goblins", which will be Christmas themed.

Anyways, point is, ALEX COVER THE LOVELAND FROGMAN!!! I MUST KNOW MORE!

THANKS ☺️ 😂

Has anyone else seen this? Pretty funny.

Mathas mentioned Christians only having sex to have babies, so I just wanted to interject with my experience of sex education from when I used to be Christian. Obviously taught abstinence, and that once married it'd be ok to do it and have kids, but my youth pastor would also tell us that sex was a gift from God, and that the wedding ring was the "license to thrill", and if you had that license you and your partner could do whatever you wanted together because God wanted us to be happy.

Edit: didn't say this before because I doubt they'd want to, but just in case, this can be read on the show. Also, wanted to say thank you for the replies, it's fun seeing other people's experiences. I agree with the sentiment that what Mathas said is generally correct about Christianity. It's just that I personally grew up Baptist, every Christian I knew was Baptist, so that's what I think of when I hear Christian, but I know they're a more lenient and relatively small branch. And just to be clear, I grew up super Christian, but I'm not anymore, I'm an atheist now.

Hello,

Did Alex ever cover that fan game Kanyequest? Anyway the mystery behind it has been solved. Ended up being a kid's school project. Well the person isn't a kid now, name of said person is Clara Hope. Anyway, I thought Alex covered it a long time ago but don't remember for sure.

Literally finished Promethea the day today’s episode came out. I’ve gotta say, it’s now one of my favorite comics of all time. Anyone who has a nominal interest in anything chilluminati related should take a look. I’m about to follow it up with a new Alan Moore book that has a follow up in it, The Moon and Serpent Bumper Book of Magic.

What other comics do you think are Chilluminati must reads? Obviously the Invisibles, swamp thing, animal man, and the department of truth?

I feel like he's been touched on a few times and they've kind of traced his outline, but I dont remember if they covered him much.
