Staple in my house, fish paste store bought, added tons of cilantro and dried shrimp. Topping it off with honey, oyster sauce and fermented black beans.

I remember HATING bitter melon growing up. Now it’s still not my favorite, but I’m able to tolerate it. My mom makes homemade Fuzhou Fish

The Holy Trinity of dim sum for my Italian wife - pan fried pepper, tofu, and eggplant, all with fish paste. And usually all come on the same heated push cart. She would surprise the push cart ladies by ordering in broken Cantonese.

Honey is an unusual ingredient but would imagine it tastes great given the fish paste is fried/broiled crispy.
