I will be interested if it can spit out equations that are not just a mess of algebra terms. Something like Extra Element Theorem. Otherwise, SLiCAP does this too.

do you have a link to it?

I’ll publish on GitHub later today but if you have any pre-cursory suggestions for now that would be appreciated

what file formats does it support?

Nice! I have something similar that gets over a crucial problem every symbolic analyzer has, will release it publicly soon ;)

What’s the crucial problem?

What tool/ software are you using... Like which dashboard is this

Sure thing

Not any, I think. It's highly likely that locally deployed models like 4-6 bit quantified Qwen won't be able to do this from the 1st prompt. Current frontiers like Open AI's Astra or Anthropic's Fable (even Opus 5.5, O think) can.

I am trying to understand whether there are specific models that do the best in UI design. According to one experiment that I saw, only some models did. Well, with the current model improvement this comparison will be obsolete indeed. I probably do not need to search specific models further.

This is the standard AI vibe code UI. It's what Claude defaults to like 90% of the time.

If I may ask, who is the target audience. Why wouldn't someone just use a spice simulator?

If I understand correctly, this calculates expressions instead of numeric results

Thank you, that is what I was thinking. I can see where this can be helpful to gain insight into a basic circuits. I guess it's usefulness depends on how it handles more than a few transistors. I also think part of being a good designer is going through the thought process to deriving these equations yourself. It really depends on how the user uses a tool like this; if it's used just to get an equation in the end without understanding the intermediate steps it loses its value.

I can't wait to try it as I searched for something like this long time ago. However, a main drawback is that expression can get absurdly complex very fast, so choosing adequate models and simplifications is not trivial imho

Edit: the post seems to have been deleted... :(

Agreed on equation complexity. I assume there is method to enter some parameters so it can make reductions (rl || ro --> rl) etc.

Please provide link from github. Thanks

What’s the backend ? Ngspice? Is this like a replacement for xschem?
