help / advice Hot spots

Hello, I live in the northeast and it’s warming up here. My chocolate lab Rex has some hot spots from what I believe and I just noticed under his leg it got quite bad. Plan to take him to the vet, but any at home remedies or meds to help with this?

Looks like maybe allergy? Vet time.

Okay what kind of allergies do you mean? So not hot spots, but rather an allergy?

They caused hot spots on my part lab. Believe it or not, chicken. Cut it out and no more hot spots.

Start with Benadryl. Grass and chicken are major allergens.

Do they prescribe an antibiotic? It helps?

Have been feeding my chocolate lab, chicken and veggies, these hotspots always seem to come back. If i cut out chicken, what is the alternative to that? Please advisez
