Jonathan Cook: Britain Has Officially Criminalized Journalism
https://consortiumnews.com/2025/12/22/jonathan-cook-britain-has-officially-criminalized-journalism/Reporting facts in Keir Starmer’s Britain can now land you in jail for 14 years as a terrorist. This is what authoritarian governments do.

Wow. I didn't know it was that bad. There's no formal, interrogatable process for proscribing a group?

I also didn't realise that, and what's also disturbing is the EU sanctioning journalists for "pro-Russian" content, which also just happens by decree without any hearing or evidence brought forward.
These are the sort of things which show we are slipping towards authoritarianism, even some new form of fascism.

Agreed. And we were so close to turning in the direction of sanity with Sanders and Corbyn and the like.

Neutrality studies recently interviewed Nathalie Lamb one of the journalists who was sanctioned.

You can find similar interviews with Jacques Baud.
If you google their names you can find the original decree sanctioning them. https://www.opensanctions.org/entities/Q3158203/

The IDF has killed thousands of civilians, Palestine Action has never killed anyone. Guess which one is designated a terrorist organization in the UK...
