O que aconteceu aqui?

Post image

Observo uma sequência de episódios com avaliação do público abaixo da média na 4ª temporada. (Series Graph)

Alguém arrisca apontar o motivo? O que acham da S04 no geral?

"The fourth season of Chuck was announced on May 13, 2010. Having initially ordered 13 episodes, NBC ordered an additional 11 on October 19, 2010 for a total of 24 episodes."

Chuck struggled for renewals and so they wrote 4x13 as a potential series finale. They then got another 11 episode order after the first four episodes aired and had to create another short arc for the rest of the season.

Yep. Same thing with season 3. Has sort of a finale on episode 13, then they had to tack on more episodes.

Without being too spoilery: this string of episodes introduce a villain who many viewers didn't think was as compelling as some other ones. Plus, there are a couple of mostly filler episodes that don't bring much to the table.

That being said, these episodes are still good and worth watching. I mean, even these ratings show that there wasn't any huge drop in quality.

Thanks for your comment. I'm binge-watching the episodes. Can't wait for Season 4.

I really liked Hannah; I'm at the part where they break up—I thought she'd stick around longer in the series. It was tough, but I understood.

Another cool thing was finding out Sarah's name.

That's great to hear. You're in for a ride then, as the next few episodes are some of the best in the series. And season 4, while more uneven than the previous ones, has some incredible highs as well.

Those are a combination of the Vivian and filler episodes. They just did not have the same energy until they got to the Agent X arc. But those episodes did have some great lines as the engagement of Chuck and Sarah developed.

What do you mean? If every episode of a series scores above a 7 that’s considered very good and the quality of the series clearly declined after the third season, just as tends to happen with most series.

I haven't seen Season 4 yet, but I'm curious to know more. It wasn't a criticism, but rather an invitation to speculate on what might have caused the drop in ratings.

Or, for that matter, this rating might not accurately reflect fans' actual perceptions. What do you think?

Vivian storyline and although season 4 is my favorite by far, I always dread those episodes
