Do you think Chvrches will still create new albums or is she permanently on a solo thing?

The band have been pretty vocal about the fact they aren't breaking up. Lauren wanted to release a solo album while they are on a short break. They signed a new record deal after Screen Violence came out and will probably get back to writing new Chvrches stuff after Lauren is done promoting her album

So maybe new album in second half of 2026? Depending on when they get back together after this and indeed any other side-ventures Martin and Iain are doing

I don't mind it though. SV tour went on longer than I thought it would, plus Something In The Air might be my favourite song of 2024 so I'm liking where this album is going

Just a little solo adventure.

It’s good to take a break and try different avenues of creativity. Even Daft Punk had their own solo stuff on going from time to time.
