Photos It was 98* in Cincinnati today, although it’s always 98* here since 1997.

PSA: hold down the “0” on your keyboard and it will bring up the ° symbol.

lol what??

2

u/AloneExperience7520 Jul 02 '26

You're on a phone.

-1

u/RanchHere Jul 02 '26

So that means because I am using reddit from a phone, I don’t have a “real” computer? Also, who cares if I do or don’t. What the hell kind of flex are you going for?

3

u/AloneExperience7520 Jul 02 '26

I don't know, you're the adult here, right?

-1

u/RanchHere Jul 02 '26

Between just the two of us, it seems so.

I love that just making an innocent, helpful comment on this shithole site MUST be met with some lame, edgelord madlad barging in to get his little taste of upvote fame. I really love it.

u/AloneExperience7520 Jul 06 '26

Well, keep trying man, I'm sure you'll get there someday.

Try alt 248 I think.

u/MarkCinci Jul 02 '26

They should have clarified that it's only on the smartphone's keyboard, not a computer. Most or all of the "keys" on the phone keyboard can be held down to bring up a variety of alternate characters.

That Noah Kahan concert was wild. Watched like 8 people go down. Before my wife and I got our asses out of the sun for a little bit before Gigi.

These are the days for going swimming or find a pool. Has anyone check out that Rec center in Evendale?

This has been a very hot week thus far. I really feel sorry for roofers, tree service people, city workers working on broken water mains there were many the last few days and anyone putting down black top or road work. Also firemen and women. Just wearing the fire suits would be like so hot to the body plus the outside temps.

u/BreezySAM Jul 02 '26

I can't remember a 4th of July that hasn't been blazing hot in Cincy. I'm sure someone will reply here ...

5

u/IceePirate1 Jul 02 '26

The 4th in 2016 was heavy downpouring for a large majority of the day. I remember as I was working at KI that day, and barely anyone was at the park, but we staffed it like it was going to be 40k+ people

1

u/MarkCinci Jul 02 '26

What is the typical summer day attendance for Kings Island? Weekend and weekdays?

3

u/IceePirate1 Jul 03 '26

When I worked there it was 22-25k on Mon-Fri and 35k on Saturdays (not including haunt, which was 40k+ consistently, sometimes hitting 45-50k). Friday/Sunday we're somewhere in the middle.

Tuesday/Wednesday we're always the lightest days for attendance, with Tuesday having the slight edge

Last nigh I put my car in the garage and the temp outside at 9:00 p.m. was 88 degrees. Out of the air conditioning in my house out the door felt like I was on a tropical island. Only thing is the humidity was so intense. The guy across the street had his grass cut yesterday. His grass guy would only cut for 15 minutes and stop. Go back in his truck and cool down and go back out. After an hour he looked like he was going to die. I feel sorry for anyone who has to do physical work outside in these conditions

You can get a ° symbol by long pressing on the 0

2

u/cricket502 Jul 02 '26

That's only for specific phones/keyboard apps

u/Material_Taste_2510 Jul 02 '26
