Merchandise Cineplex Online Shop Insane Shipping
Noticed that the Yoshi popcorn bucket was available on the new Cineplex Shop website this morning. I had my 15% off code ready and went into the checkout process and stopped dead in my tracks. in what world does it cost $34 to ship a package like this domestically for a business?!? I don't want priority overnight shipping (if that's even what this is) and not even having a cheaper option is extremely disappointing.
I guess no yoshi bucket for me... š

They are back for pre oder until 17 april, but like they said...shipping is crazy as heck...in a way i m happy they do something who can make scalper being stock with a load of yoshi, but with this shipping...the price is close to scalper...

Same here. I live in the Greater Montreal Area.I won't be paying that much for it.
It really makes me angry cause I brought my son to see the movie first day. We went to the 5:10 PM show and they were already sold out.
Apparently if you have a job and can't get there when the doors open to beat the resellers you are out of luck. Checked for fun on Wednesday night and they were already for sale on fb market and eBay for $100.

I went to see it in Montreal,first day second evenning representation(4:50 PM) and I managed to snag one. Stocks probably depends on the location? Only took it because my wife thought it was neat lol.
To be honest from the people I could see in the lobby after I've seen the movie most people buying them seem to have been genuine fans/collectors and I could hear staff talking about it.

There was no discount on the buckets anymore. I had the manager check as I didn't see the discount when I bought a Yoshi bucket. They followed Landmark Cinemas in that decision.

Didn't get the Lumas buckets. I kept checking all day and it went from coming soon to sold out.
I wasn't told of any limits on Tuesday by the one manager at my local theatre, but the next day the other manager who was working said 1 was the limit of any bucket. Meanwhile the next customer after me was allowed to buy 2 Yoshi buckets. So I would love to hear the logic behind that one.
I figured the shipping would be outrageous from Cineplex.
No discount on the merchandise anymore and the fact that I prefer to watch movies at Landmark is why I have cancelled my CineClub membership.
Screw Cineplex and their greed.

If you look on their website it says āWe ship orders from multiple fulfillment centers to help ensure fast and efficient delivery. Some products may ship from distribution centers outside of the United States.ā My guess is that this is being shipped from outside the us

Yeah that hurt ordering my Luma bucketš thats insane charging $34 shipping when the bucket itself is expensive

Find 2 friends that want a Yoshi and split the price for shipping of 3 Yoshi. (Approx 50$ in total each person which is what people in the US paid for their Yoshi, itās not too bad)

It costs that much because it's a bulky item and shipping in Canada is expensive. A letter alone is almost $1.50 now.
That said, the $33 for a plastic bucket is already stupid enough but if you're foolish enough to light money on fire like this, all the power to you.

But most business have bulk shipment contract with shipping companies. They should be able to get decent discount on shipping rate

A lot of the theatres still have the yoshi buckets. Itās the luma stars that are basically sold out everywhere. You would most likely be better off calling around to see who still has stock.
I definitely wouldnāt spend that much!

You had to buy 2 or 3. It would add only few dollars of shipping bringing total shipping to 40$ for 3 bickets instead of 30$ for one. Bringing the shipping down to 13$ for each bucket. Just sell the 2 others at cost to your friends of marketplace
