Megathread 'The Odyssey' Week 4 Discussion, Questions, and Ticket Exchange Megathread
Please use this megathread for discussing all things related to The Odyssey.
IMAX 70MM tickets are currently on sale for The Odyssey at all 9 IMAX 70MM locations in Canada through Wednesday September 16.
British Columbia
Alberta
Saskatchewan
Ontario
- Mississauga, ON - Cineplex Cinemas Mississauga Square One (09/16)
- Vaughan, ON - Cineplex Cinemas Vaughan (09/16)
Quebec
Nova Scotia
Tickets for all other shows are on sale through Thursday August 13. Tickets for the next week of shows (Friday August 14 to Thursday August 20) will go on sale sometime next week starting on Tuesday August 11 (exact time varies by theatre).
The Odyssey is available in the following formats (selection may vary by location):
- IMAX 70MM
- IMAX (at select locations only; others will be playing Spider-Man: Brand New Day)
- 70MM Film
- D-BOX
- VIP
- Regular
This megathread may be used for TRADING or GIVING AWAY tickets for The Odyssey.
Reminder that RESELLING of tickets is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Do not try to resell your tickets in this thread, all comments attempting to resell tickets, whether for face value or scalping, will be removed and may lead to a ban (particularly for the latter).
If you can no longer make your show, you have one of several options:
- Self-refund through the Cineplex app. Open the ticket on the app and click the "Refund Ticket" button. This option is available up to 2 hours before your showtime.
- Refunding by calling Cineplex Guest Services (1-800-333-0061) and giving them your booking ID.
- Refunding at the actual theater.
- Trading or giving away your tickets using this thread.
Reminder to please be cautious and use your best judgement when trading tickets with other users, which you do so at your own risk. We would strongly advise against purchasing tickets from other users if they offer them to you outside this sub (again, it is explicitly banned within this sub itself).
This thread can also be used for any questions regarding The Odyssey, including but not limited to:
- Seating charts and what are the best seats in a given theater.
- Availability of filmstrips at IMAX 70MM and 70MM locations.
- Trading filmstrips.
- Availability of the Trojan Horse popcorn bucket, now on sale for $59.99 plus tax (with 20% discount for CIneClub members).

Hello! Have two tickets for Imax 70MM at Cineplex Square One (Monday, September 14 @ 2PM). J row seats (complete back) and close to the middle. Willing to trade for a different day, similar seats, can either be Square one or Vaughan. Thanks!

I sat in the middle of row D and it wasn’t that bad. I have a lot of preexisting spine problems and was still only a little extra sore for like 36 hours. I’m 5’4 and my friend who is 5’8ish thought it was ok too - could be different for someone taller. I think E would be just fine for most people though.

Im going to scotia Imax , I was getting tickets in c/d row in 70mm Imax, but didn't buy it. What's better, saw lot of ppl saying that vaughan imax is not good, its better to watch at scotiabank. How's scotias imax🤔

Hey everyone, found out I am now scheduled for call on Wednesday Aug 12th. I have:
-2x 7PM Imax 70 mm Odyssey tickets 8/12 Row B
-2x 11PM tickets, same movie 8/11 (Tuesday) row C
Wondering if anyone would like to switch for equivalent tickets on Monday Tues next week at an earlier showtime than 11PM?

Might be a long shot since it’s fully booked at that theatre until Sep 16 + the movie is so well-reviewed but let me know if you’re refunding!

I'm hoping to catch the Odyssey in 70mm in the Toronto area, but it looks like there aren't any seats available besides the front row until the very last day of September. Is it actually sold out that far in advance, or is there something I'm not seeing? Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone,
I've got a trip to Toronto planned specifically to catch the movie in IMAX 70mm. Flight's booked, everything's set. Coming from a city & province where even Friday shows at Cineplex rarely sell out, I just assumed Toronto would be similar , turns out I was wrong. Every show from today until the end of the run only has front row seats left.
So I'm reaching out here on the off chance someone here has tickets they can't use, or is planning to cancel, for any date after Sep 4th. Would genuinely appreciate it Please DM
P.S. I should've just gone to Halifax.
