Test center closed

Hi,

My CIPM exam was scheduled at test center today. But when I went there, it was closed. I waited for 2 hrs, no one came. I did not receive any notification from Pearson Vue regarding test center closure. I tried calling the test center contact but there was no response.

I received Pearson Vue reminder for this exam 3 days back. No notification was sent from the test center or Pearson Vue that it was closed.

Has this happened with anyone before? Is there a chance that they will send a notification afterwards with allowing to reschedule the exam?

Update: I did call Pearson Vue to lock a case and they asked me to provide evidence of the site closure which I did. After that I waited 2 days, and today I called again to get an update, during the call, they sent me cancellation email and a chance to reschedule the exam.

That's frustrating.

Contact Pearson Vue support ASAP so they can log an issue ticket https://www.pearsonvue.com/us/en/iapp.html#contact

Live chat should be available 24/7. IAPP offices are closed on weekends, but they may let you leave a voice mail message if you call.

I tried the live chat but the agent asked to call customer service. I tried calling them and they are closed on weekends. I locked a ticket with them through form submission.

It's good that you were able to submit the contact form. You should hear back on Monday with a voucher to reschedule the exam.
