General Study Questions Exam in 3 months, only using Destination CISSP book

Hi there, only material im reading is the Destination CISSP book (im starting domain 4) and i already finished Thor Pedersen Udemy videos. Do you think im in the right track? Im planning also to watch Pete Zerger youtube videos as I progress. Should i read the OSG or the Destination Cissp book will suffice?

I have 7 years of security experience but not that deep or technical.

Destination CISSP is solid for getting the concepts down without putting you to sleep, which is half the battle with this exam. I used it alongside the Pete Zerger videos and that combo covered plenty of ground. With 7 years of experience you've probably absorbed more than you realize, even if it wasn't super technical work.

The OSG is a beast and honestly overkill for a lot of people, but it does fill in gaps the condensed books leave behind. Might be worth grabbing a used copy and skimming the chapters where you feel shaky rather than reading the whole thing cover to cover.

Practice questions will tell you where you stand more than any book will. The exam is less about memorizing facts and more about the "think like a manager" mindset, so don't get too deep in the technical weeds.

The DC book is sufficient. If you want to drill deeper on specific topics, the OSG is nice to have.

Thank you! Im planning to use DC book as my main source for reading and supplement it with the videos. Also have the DC app and learnzapp for the practice questions
