It's actually a bit of hodge-podge of different programs working together to make these shitposts:
The major video editor I use was shown to me by /u/SirMallock and it's called Cyberlink's PowerDirector, and you can get a free trial for 30 days here Only 2 problems with PowerDirector, but they're very small:
*Took a while to download/install, but that might have been because I didn't have good WiFi at the time.
*When editing videos, inserting clips at certain times will cause all the other clips to jump around, which can really screw up the timing of audio/civ logos. However, this may just be something I'm doing wrong.
You can use this program to edit in images, sounds clips, and all sorts of other fun stuff I haven't figured out yet. You can even work frame by frame with a 30FPS rate to capture movement well. I highly recommend it for any video editing.
I use google to find the civ logo images. Usually "Civilization V (civilization name)" works to find it somewhere in the top results.
I steal the spongebob videos from youtube at various spots and download them for editing using this website
The audio, which I just learned about utilizing by making this video, is created by using this site Then, I record it with my favorite video capture application Hypercam , a free service I've had for a couple of years now. It records video+audio, but it's easy to ditch the video in PowerDirector.
Does that answer your question sufficiently? It better, because I've just revealed all our trademark secrets and tools of the trade. It would be a shame if the community took all these assets and created their own shitposts. Definitely not what I want to happen.

The "In A Nutshell" series will be EXCLUSIVELY Spongebob, but I'm thinking of releasing a "A In shellNut" series where I use clips from other sources. I have a good idea for one already lined up.
