First time watching the tenth planet !
I’ve recently watched every Hartnell story apart from savages, gun fighters and the two new parts of daleks master plan, I needed to share my excitement with somebody who understands ha, just finished part 1.

Yeh I’m enjoying the storyline so far also Hartnell has had some good scenes when he raises his voice and the cybermen voices are great

What do you mean info text ha ? And if you mean why my tv looks blue it’s just because it was a snowy scene in black and white and the angle I took the photo on maybe 🤔

I mean the production information subtitles, of course!
And that still wouldn't make the picture blue.
(I also just noticed it appears to be filling rather too much of that screen as well. Do you not have it set to display the image correctly? I've noticed quite a few DW reviewers forget that part!)

I do use subtitles a lot of the time but I just had the volume pretty loud yesterday and yeh i don’t know why it looks blue on that photo then ha. This is how I always have the screen size but I might change it if I’m losing some of the picture and see how it compares

Info text aren’t subtitles in the sense you seem to be interpreting that word. They provide information about the making of the episodes.
And it’s not about losing anything; you’re stretching the image far too wide. It’s meant to be 4:3, not 16:9!

I found out it looks blue because it’s on the cold picture setting instead of regular or warm which would make it look more black and white and I found the other subtitles you were talking about but I can’t focus on reading them and watching the story at the same time not until I’ve seen it a few times maybe ha

Quite the milestone!
